Vida Lin: a 14 year Professional with expertise in Life & Health Insurance as well as Property & Casualty. Vida is the Vice President of the V & J Insurance Division of Western Risk Companies. Vida is recognized for being the first woman elected as President to the Nevada Chapter of the Asian chamber of Commerce as well as numerous contributations to the community. She also sits as a board of director of the Organization of Chinese Americans Board (OCA). She is a Board of Director for the MGM Diversity Advisory Committee and previously on the Clark County Advisory Board for Business Development. She has been actively involved with the Japanese American Citizen League, UNLV APA Youth Summit, UNLV, Gift Foundation and Nevada System of Higher Education. On August 2007, Vida received the “Unsung Hero Volunteer” Award at the Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA) National Convention. On March 4, 2008, she was honored as being a leader and a mentor, working tirelessly to support the community by Lawrence Weekly, Clark County Commissioner. This award is given each year to recognize one person for their dedication and outstanding achievement in the Clark County, Nevada Community. Vida has been a guest speaker on ALPFA Leadership: Women & Financial Empowerment Panel.
